Uzbek Cyrillic Language

The Uzbek cyrillic language is one of the Turkic languages and is spoken by approximately 20 million people around the world. The Uzbek cyrillic language, like other Turkic languages, evolved from the Karluk languages which are still an important source of modern vocabulary. Although many of the words in Uzbek cyrillic have Arabic, Persian and Russian origins, about 60% of its words are derived from Chagatai, a Turkic language that was used in political and religious writings.
