Belarusian Language

The Belarusian language is a modern Slavic language from the West branch of the Slavic languages. It is one of the official languages of Belarus, where it enjoys the status of a national language. It is also spoken by about 7 million people in Russia and Ukraine, as well as in many other countries. The Belarusian language is closely related to Ukrainian and Russian, but has distinct phonetic and morphological features that set it apart.
